POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs advanced clerical duties. Provides staff and the public a wide variety of information based on knowledge of company’s policies, procedures and required guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a wide variety of advanced secretarial duties
- Makes administrative decisions based on knowledge of company’s policies and procedures
- Compiles information and prepares a wide variety of documents, reports and correspondence utilizing accounting, word processing and typing skills
- Handles correspondence frequently on own initiative
- Maintains confidential files
- Takes and prepares minutes of meetings
- Answers and screens all executive-level calls and channels calls to the proper contact person
- Makes executive travel and lodging arrangements
- Maintains contract and agreement files and document tickler system
- Receives, sorts, and facilitates dissemination of information to department personnel
- Coordinates activities as needed with other support staff personnel
- Performs other related duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years experience in administrative, secretarial and/or receptionist positions
- High school diploma or General Education diploma
- Thorough knowledge of office administration practices
- Ability to type 70 wpm with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge and ability to use word processing software, spreadsheets, desktop publishing and data management programs
- Communicate effectively; both orally and in writing
- Work effectively with co-workers and members of the public
- Flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice
