    Job Title:                 Asset & Supply Coordinator Reports To:                           Administrative Supervisor

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities –

     

    • Stocks vehicles in preparation for regulatory

     

    • Performs inventory on expendable medical and janitorial supplies, stocks as

     

    • Assists in relaying units for

     

    • Relays equipment to appropriate destination for

     

    • Performs routine checks and preparation of bio-medical equipment and performs minor troubleshooting

     

    • Performs laundry

     

    • . Assists with maintenance and upkeep of stations and

     

    • Monitors the quality, cost, delivery, performances and aspects of assigned

     

    • Manages all aspects of procurement, fleet and facility daily

     

    • Provides leadership/mentoring to all subordinate

     

    • Develops new sources of supply and coordinates purchasing, fleet and facilities

     

    • Supervises and strives to obtain high-quality staff and sets departments’

     

    • Manage all inventory at all

     

    • Interacts with other Managers to coordinate activities between other

     

    • Executes Company and strategic plans to meet goals, including supplier consolidation, physical inventory elimination, on-time delivery performance and inventory

     

    • Manages processes of product/service requirements, identifies and qualifies appropriate suppliers, facilitates Requests for Proposals/Requests for Information, and executes appropriate procurement documents, such as blanket or standard purchase

     

    • Oversees supervision of assigned personnel, which includes work allocation and problem resolution.

     

    • Coordinates the preparation of reports and analyses for management and presents recommendation for improvements, monetary control and adherence to

     

    • Establishes and implements short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.

     

    • Manages office operations to maximize human and automated resources to achieve productivity and

     

    • Communicates clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity and

     

    • Reviews on-going performance results and identifies needs of

     

    • Assists in development and implementation of records maintenance system on employees, equipment and

     

    • Due to predictability of an EMS organization, it is not always possible to guarantee consistent work hours or meal and break periods. Employees in this position may be required to work extended shifts in extraordinary situations and must be available for recall in crisis

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    High school diploma or GED. Possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License. Basic Knowledge of Micro Soft Office. Ability to work under time constraints. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills.

     

    • Must hold a current and valid State driver’s license

     

    • Basic computer skills

     

    • Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience is preferred, however it is not

     

    • Demonstrated professional rapport with fellow workers. Commitment to professionalism and customer service and proven loyalty to the

     

    • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in procurement and/or

     

    STRESS FACTORS:

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Frequently:      Lifting 200 lbs., kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning, flexibility, multiple physical activities performed at the same time

    Constantly:      Hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching, walking (inside and outside), pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, driving ambulance, and seeing.

     

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

     

    Occasionally: Works alone, inside, confined areas noise other hazardous conditions (human excrement, blood, urine, mucous, tissue)

    Frequently:    Electrical equipment.

    Constantly:   Works with others, face-to-face contact, verbal contact with others works outside, shiftwork, extended hours

     

    MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Occasionally: Reading (simple and complex), writing (complex), memorization, analyzing, math skills (simple).

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO PATIENT PRIVACY:

    The incumbent is expected to protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with the Company’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state laws and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a health care provider. Failure to comply with the Company’s policies and procedures on patient privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or of membership or association with AMR.

     

    The incumbent may access protected health information and other patient information only to the extent that is necessary to complete your job duties. The incumbent may only share such information with those who have a need to know specific patient information you have in your possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other Company operations.

    The incumbent is encouraged and expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding the Company’s policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of that policy to the designated HIPAA Privacy Officer. The incumbent is expected to participate actively in Company privacy training and is required to communicate privacy policy information to co-workers, students, patients and others in accordance with Company policy.
